Sally's Best Waffles

These make the perfect waffles. Light and crispy. Yummy!

2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 eggs, separated
1 tablespoon melted margarine
2 cups cold milk
Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together. Set aside. Separate eggs and beat yolks. Gradually add milk and melted margarine, stirring well. Stir in flour mixture. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture. Blueberry Waffles: Fold 1 cup blueberries, washed and dried into basic recipe and cook in waffle iron.
