I have been seeing these mummy dogs on Pinterest (of course) and on some other blogs but I think the recipe originated from Pillsbury. The original recipe calls for cheese but I left that out. Also, my kids don't eat ketchup or mustard but I wanted these mummies to have eyes so I cut some tiny eyes out of a strawberry. So if you have picky little ones you can get creative with the eyes.

8 hot dogs
1 tube crescent rolls (8 oz)
