Sloppy Joe Sliders

I love Sloppy Joes and tater tots, so that's what I requested for my birthday dinner. My hubby knew that girls also love things that are little and cute, so he created these Sloppy Joe Sliders. Topped with pickles and a side of tots, it was the best birthday meal of the year - ha!

1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 TBSP cornstarch
2 TBSP minced dried onion
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 8-oz. can tomato sauce
3 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
2 TBSP prepared mustard
1 tsp salt
12 miniature sandwich buns
dill pickle chips (optional)
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 TBSP cornstarch
2 TBSP minced dried onion
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 8-oz. can tomato sauce
3 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
2 TBSP prepared mustard
1 tsp salt
12 miniature sandwich buns
dill pickle chips (optional)
In a large skillet, brown ground beef (bread it up well). Drain grease from beef.
In a small bowl, mix lemon juice and cornstarch until smooth. Add onion,brown sugar, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and salt. Mix well and add to skillet.
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sauce has thickened.
Split sandwich buns and spoon mixture onto buns. Top with pickles if desired.
