Slow Cooker Continental Beef

A new spin on beef stroganoff. My 14 month old son gobbled up 2 helpings of the beef!

1 cup diced onion
6 tbsp butter or light margarine
2 lb rump roast, cut into cubes
8 oz tomato sauce
2 tsp Worcestershire
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tsp minced garlic
1 cup sour cream
Saute onions in butter. Remove from pan and brown beef cubes. Place beef, onions, tomato sauce, Worcestershire, sugar, paprika, salt, pepper and garlic in slow cooker. Cook on low 6-8 hours or until beef is very tender. Add sour cream to beef mixture just before serving. Stir until smooth and heated through. Do not boil. Serve over cooked egg noodles.
