Slow Cooker Harvest Stew (Italian version)

I recently got a 2nd crockpot for my birthday. I feel like I am in crockpot heaven! I can brown several pounds of ground vension and use up some of the extra garden veggies by making two different soups or stews at the same time. Today I made two versions of this stew, an Italian and a Chili. Both are very thick and filling!

1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 chopped bell pepper
3 cups broth
1/2 chopped onion
1 cup chopped mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped pepperoni
1 cup frozen peas
1 cup chopped butternut squash or carrots
1 lb cooked ground meat
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon garlic
Add all ingredients to slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours. Can serve over rice or pasta.
