Slow Cooker Italian Beef Sandwich

Moist, savory beef sandwiches, best eaten on toasted bread with melted pepper jack cheese!

3 lbs. beef round rump roast
1 green pepper, sliced
3/4 cup Italian Dressing
1 Tablespoon dried onion
1 Tablespoon basil
1 Tablespoon oregano
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 Teaspoon rosemary
1 tsp black pepper
3 beef bouillon cubes
2 cups water
French bread or Hoagie buns
Slice of pepper jack cheese
1. Slice your green pepper. Place half of the slices into bottom of a crock-pot, along with the dried onion. 2. Thaw the rump roast and place in crock-pot. 3. Sprinkle spices, Italian dressing, remaining green peppers, bouillon cubes and water over top the meat. 4. Cover and cook on high for 6-7 hours. 5. About an hour before you would like to eat, use a fork to shred the meat. Continue cooking on high in juice for about an hour. 6. Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. 7. Place the meat on your bread and cover with cheese. Place your sandwich in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted. 8.
