Slow Cooker Kalua Pork

1/3 cup water
1 (6 pound) pork butt roast
3 Tbsp Hawaiian sea salt or coarse sea salt
1 Tbsp. diced jarred garlic
1 tsp. black pepper
3 Tbsp liquid smoke flavoring
Place 1/3 cup water in the bottom of your cock-pot. Pierce pork all over with a fork. Combine liquid smoke, salt, pepper & diced jarred garlic. Rub mixture over meat. Place roast in a slow cooker. Cover, and cook on low for 16 to 20 hours, turning once during cooking time. I started it before I went to bed the night before we ate it. Remove meat from slow cooker and shred. Mix back into slow cooker with meat juices. We had the leftover pork on the pretzel rolls BBQ sauce and coleslaw.
