Smooth and Creamy Pecan Fudge

Fudge is one of those foods that I always associate with the Holidays. I picture my Grandma in the kitchen making wonderful things for the family. While this isn't a recipe she made requiring you to beat the fudge on a marble slab, it is still a hunk of smooth chocolate yumminess. If you are a chocolate purest, leave out the nuts :)

1 cup pecans, chopped
1/4 lb butter (1 stick)
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
5 oz evaporated milk
1 12 oz package Hershey's semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups) (I used 1 cup milk chocolate, and 1 cup semi-sweet)
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1 7 oz jar Marshmallow Creme
