Have you had those cookies from the grocery store, the fat white ones with all the frosting? I LOVED those cookies growing up. This recipe comes pretty close to replicating them.

6 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup room temperature unsalted butter
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups sour cream (16 oz)
For the frosting
1 cup room temperature unsalted butter
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups powdered sugar
pinch of salt
6 TBSP heavy cream
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup room temperature unsalted butter
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups sour cream (16 oz)
For the frosting
1 cup room temperature unsalted butter
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups powdered sugar
