This easy skillet spaghetti squash marinara with ground sausage, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese is a great low carb dinner recipe!

2 pounds spaghetti squash
16 ounces ground Italian sausage, casings removed (I use turkey sausage.)
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 cloves garlic, minced or crushed
30 ounces petite diced tomatoes, drained
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
salt and pepper, to taste
crushed red pepper flakes, (optional)
