Spaghetti with simple tomato bacon sauce

An everyday pasta dish with a tomato bacon sauce and a twist for extra creaminess!

1 pound spaghetti pasta
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, finely diced
1 clove of garlic, crashed
2 pounds ripe plum tomatoes (or good quality canned ones)
4 strips bacon, diced
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp red wine vinegar
½ teaspoon tarragon (optional)
2 teaspoons cornflour
2 tablespoons cold water
Salt and pepper to taste

Greek yogurt, parmesan or feta cheese, chopped parsley for serving.

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
