Spiced Cran-Apple Cider

A tart and tangy cider full of holiday flavor. You can have this simmering in the crock pot all day to fill your home with delicious smells while serving guests a warm cup of love.

6 cups red apples, diced (we used Fuji and Red Delicious)
1 cup cranberries
1 naval orange, peeled
1 cinnamon stick
½ tsp allspice
½ tsp ground cloves
½ tsp ground nutmeg
¼ cup brown sugar
10 cups water

Place all ingredients on low in a crock pot for 10-12 hours (or overnight).
Crush all fruit with any tool. We found that a potato masher or hand blender worked best.
Let the cider sit for another 1-2 hours...
