My mom used to make us breakfast every day growing up. We definitely took it for granted, since cereal was a hot commodity in our house and was reserved for Sundays only. Now, what I wouldn't give to have my mom make me breakfast again. She used to whip up some pretty darn incredible homemade syrup for our pancakes and waffles. We were wicked and would usually top them with fresh whipped cream also.

SPICED PEACH SYRUP}
2 c. peach juice
1 c. sugar
2 T. cornstarch
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. nutmeg
SPICED PEACH SYRUP}
2 c. peach juice
1 c. sugar
2 T. cornstarch
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. nutmeg
Stir together sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg in a saucepan. Add peach juice and stir 'til combined. Bring mixture to a boil. Remove from heat when thickened and serve warm.
