Spicy Orange Ginger Chicken

This is a really good Chinese Dish kicked up with some spice, it's not really hot, (unless you add more hot sauce than I did) You'll like this as much as we did, if you like orange and ginger chicken. Serves 3-4

Ingredients
1/3 cup warm water
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon white vinegar
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch of fresh ginger grated
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2-3 dashes of hot sauce, easy does it
1/4 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cubed
1 cup water
1 cup uncooked white rice
2 teaspoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons cold water
chopped green onions for garnish
