Spicy Shrimp

Great for any party! Serve with cheese trays as well.

3 c. butter
1/2 c. fresh pepper
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
5 medium cloves garlic, minced
4 tsp. minced fresh rosemary
1 Tbsp. sweet paprika
2 Tbsp. minced fresh basil
1 Tbsp. minced fresh oregano
2 Tbsp. salt
1/2 to 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. nutmeg
6 lb. raw shrimp (with tails on)
Simmer all ingredients, except shrimp, for about 20 minutes. Add shrimp and cook until firm. Serve in large bowl with liquid and have slices of small baguette French bread to accompany it.
