Spicy Smoked Sausage Pasta

Easy dinner recipe. Smoked Sausage with bow tie pasta and spicy cream sauce, topped with cheese.

1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 package of sausage of your choice. I used 16 oz. of smoked polish sausage.
1 ½ cups of chicken broth
1 cup of heavy cream
½ of an onion, diced
2 tablespoons of minced garlic
1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
½ can of fire roasted tomatoes, drained (could also use rotel)
Box of your choice of pasta. I used bow tie
2 cups of shredded cheddar
2 tablespoons of red pepper flakes
1 teaspoons of dried thyme
2 tablespoons of flour
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped green onion for garnish

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and stir in dried thyme and set aside.
In a large skillet sautée onions and garlic for 3-4 minutes over medium heat with olive oil
