These spring-themed individual Victoria sponge cakes with a jam and buttercream filling.

Cake:
100g butter (softened)
100g sugar
2 eggs
100g plain (all-purpose) flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 tablespoon of milk

Filling:
50g butter (softened)
70g icing (confectioners’ sugar)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla sugar (you could use extract)
