Strawberry Lemonade Cake

Easy, sweet, refreshing cake!

1 box lemon cake mix
3/4 cup strawberry preserves
1 container strawberry lemonade frosting (Pillsbury)
1 lemon
Bake cake in 2 8-inch round pans according to directions. Let cool completely. Spread the strawberry preserves over the top of the first cake. Cut off the top of the second cake so it's flat on both sides. Place the second cake on top of the first so the preserves are in between. Frost cake. Grate the lemon peel on top of the cake. Enjoy!

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
