These moist, flavorful muffins stuffed with sweetened cream cheese icing can be served for dessert or breakfast!

1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 cup milk
Cream cheese filling:

4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
