Sweet and Spicy Slow Cooker Pork Chops

hese pork chops were so tender and the sauce had the perfect balance of sweetness with a little heat coming from the crushed red pepper. You could always leave the crushed red pepper out, if you don’t like spicy food.

2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
4 pork chops, about 1-inch thick
Salt and pepper
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup chicken broth
2 Tbsp packed light brown sugar
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp cold water
