Sweet Kansas City BBQ Pork Sandwiches

A quick and easy recipe for delicious BBQ pork sandwiches.

2 lb. frozen pork roast
8 buns
4 Tbs. olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups ketchup
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
1 Tbs. paprika
1 Tbs. chili powder
Cook roast in a 6 qt. slow cooker for 5 hours on high, checking the temperature (pork should be 180 degrees) and adjusting setting and time as needed. To make the BBQ sauce, saute minced garlic in olive oil over medium heat, until garlic turns brown. Add all other ingredients in, mix until well combined, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until thickened. When pork is done, shred it into a 2 qt. pot, mix in BBQ sauce, and cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Spoon onto buns.
