Lassi is a popular Indian Yogurt drink originated from Punjab. Best to beat the summer heat. Traditional lassi is a drink, sometimes flavored with roasted ground cumin. But sweet lassi has sugar or fruits , instead of spices. It is prepared by churning the yogurt with a wooden hand blender called as madani, in Punjabi language. But you can always blend it using electric blender.

2 Cups Yogurt
1/2 Cup Chilled milk or Plain water
6-7 Tablespoons Sugar(Depending on how sweet you want)
4-5 Cardamom
Few Saffron strands for garnishing(Optional)

Open cardamom pods and crush the seeds to fine powder. Keep aside.
Blend the yogurt in a blender for few seconds until smooth.
Add sugar and blend few more seconds.
