Sweet Potato Salad with Dill Vinaigrette

2 medium yams, peeled and diced into ½ inch cubes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey
4 green onions, washed and green parts diced (whites discarded)
1 large sprig of dill (1 tablespoon dried), finely chopped
salt, pepper, to taste
¼ cup dried cranberries
¼ cup sliced almonds
