Smoked Apple Bread with icing is a tender easy quick bread loaded with flavor. It's packed with fresh apples, spices and finished with a powdered sugar icing. This Apple Bread can be made on an electric smoker or in the oven. We love preparing it on our smoker for a delicious subtle smoked flavor.

Apple Bread:
2 cups all purpose flour
1/3 cup water
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup butter
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1 1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 large baking apples
Icing:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp milk
