4 Ingredient Caprese Salad Skewers|healthy appetizer- Food Meanderings
Slow Cooker Black-Eyed Peas with Kale and Garlic
1 (16 oz.) package dried black-eyed peas
1 large, yellow/sweet onion, chopped
3-4 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
16 oz. chopped kale, rinsed and drained
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. cumin
1 tsp. chipotle chili powder
1 tsp. ancho chili powder
Sea salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 cup reduced - sodium vegetable broth
1 tsp. crushed red pepper flake, more or less depending on taste. Can be omitted altogether for less spice.

Beginning the night before you want to enjoy this recipe, place the dried black-eyed peas in the bowl of a slow cooker, cover with water by at least an inch. Soak overnight.

Rose Masala Chai | Rose Tea. The flavors in this tea are so deliciously striking. The chai is enriched with a good amount of spices and rose petals. This chai is not so different than a basic masala chai, and also very simple and very delicious. If you love tea, then you would love to wake up to this one! :)
Black tea leaves - 1 tbsp, or tea bags (2)
Water - 1½ Cup
Milk - 1½ Cup
Cinnamon Stick - 1
Cardamom Powder - 1 Tsp
Fresh Ginger - 1 - Inch Piece
Dried Rose Petals - 4 Tbsp
Cloves - 4
Fennel Seeds - 1 Tbsp
Rose Water - 1 Tbsp
Sugar - 3 Tbsp Or As Per Taste
Water - 1½ Cup
Milk - 1½ Cup
Cinnamon Stick - 1
