Thanksgiving Dinner Rolls

These rolls are buttery and soft, easy to make, and you can prepare the dough ahead of time and keep it in the fridge until you're ready to bake! For Thanksgiving I prepare these the day before and then put them in the fridge instead of the oven. The next day all I have to do is let them rise and then bake! No stress. Perfect rolls. Always makes for a happy Thanksgiving!

2 cups warm water
2 Tbsp yeast
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp of salt
2 cups flour
1 egg
1/4 cup shortening
3-4 cups flour
Mix the water, yeast & sugar and let sit until yeast is activated. Add salt and 2 cups flour, mix. Add the egg, shortening and remaining flour. Knead for 5-8 minutes in a mixer (10 by hand). Let rise...
