The Best of the best chocolate chip cookies

I've been baking chocolate chip cookies for years and this recipe is conjured from many chocolate chip cookie recipes into the Best one!

1C. Unsalted butter-room temp
3/4C. Sugar
3/4C. Light brown sugar
2tsp. Vanilla
2eggs-room temp
1 12oz bag chocolate chips
1 good quality 4.4oz bar of semi-sweet chocolate
1 C. AP Flour
1/4C. AP flour
1C. Bread flour
1tsp baking soda
1tsp salt
3/4C. Sugar
3/4C. Light brown sugar
2tsp. Vanilla
2eggs-room temp
1 12oz bag chocolate chips
1 good quality 4.4oz bar of semi-sweet chocolate
1 C. AP Flour
1/4C. AP flour
1C. Bread flour
1tsp baking soda
1tsp salt
First combine flours, salt, and baking soda and set aside...stir with whisk to combine
In the bowl of a stand mixer add butter and sugars and mix
Then add vanilla and eggs one at a time while mixer is running
Slowly start adding flour mixture while mixer is running
Stop mixer just before all the flour is combined and add chocolate chips and a chopped up 4.4oz semi-sweet chocolate bar.
Turn mix on just for a few seconds- just until dough is combined ( very important to not over mix )
Oven should be pre-heated to 350
Using a cookie dough scoop - scoop dough onto Cookie sheet and bake 9 minutes ( it will look slightly underdone)
Once you take cookies out leave them on the sheet for 10 min to cool and complete cooking
Voila! Perfect chocolate chip cookies! ;)
