The Ultimate Banana Bread

Banana bread is always useful for a quick breakfast, a mid-afternoon snack, or even a spoil right before bed. Another plus, this bread uses up leftover, over-ripened bananas that no one in the family wants to consume. You will be sure to win over the attention of the bake sale with this addition!

3/4 cup butter, softened
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1-1/2 cups mashed bananas (about 4 medium)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
6 Tbs flour
Streusel Topping
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp flour
1 Tbsp melted butter
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two 8×4 inch
loaf pans.
