We had loads of left over Turkey and I wanted to try a recipe we have not had before. This is so yummy and can be served so many ways. I decided to keep it simple and serve it over brown rice. I have never attempted making a pot pie, but this seems like it would be a great filling for that as well! This recipe will probably feed our family of two adults and two preschoolers for two dinners and possibly a lunch as well.

4 tbsp butter
6 fresh sliced mushrooms
2 tblsp all-purpose flour
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups chopped cooked turkey
3 cups frozen steam in bag peas and carrots, cooked
1 red bell pepper chopped
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion salt
salt and pepper to taste

Cook butter in a large skillet until starting to brown a bit
