Uncle Bee's 'Famous' Chocolate Chip Cookies

There is no question who the cook is in our family, but if you ask any of our friends or family who the dessert baker is, every one of them would say it's 'Uncle Bee'. He makes the best blondies and from scratch cheesecakes you have ever put in your mouth! Today, I am sharing what we feel to be the best chocolate chip cookie recipe. It is from our friends at Ghirardelli.

11 1/2 oz semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
