1 cup lentils
2 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
1 small onion diced
1 cup quick-cooking oats
3/4 cup grated cheese (cheddar, swiss, jack, american, etc)
1 egg, beaten
4.5 ounces tomato sauce
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 jar of marinara spaghetti sauce
hoagie/sub sandwich bread
sliced provolone
