A perfect summer cupcake with watermelon buttercream icing and topped with chocolate chips as the watermelon seeds.

White Cake Ingredients (Better Homes & Gardens 12th Edition Cook Book):
4 egg whites
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
? teaspoon salt
½ cup butter, softened
1¾ cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1? cups buttermilk

Watermelon Buttercream Frosting Ingredients:
6 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons shortening
? cup of watermelon pulp
3 cups of powdered sugar
Directions for White Cake Mix: Mix all ingredients together. Add miniature or chopped up chocolate chips to batter, as well as red gel food coloring. Bake at 350 F in a preheated oven for about 25 minutes...
