1/2 lb. mild breakfast sausage
1 medium red onion
2 slices bacon
1 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
4 medium potatoes
1 quart warm water
3 tsp. chicken granulated bouillon
1/4 bunches kale
1/3 C. Milk
2 T. Butter
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
In large pot, brown sausage over medium-high heat until cooked through. Drain and set the sausage aside. Chop onions and dice bacon. Add to the pot. Reduce heat to medium and cook until onions are translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Slice potatoes in half lengthwise and cut into 1/4" slices. Add warm water, bouillon powder, and potatoes to the pot and simmer 15-20 minutes until potatoes are almost done. Mix melted butter and milk together. Add to pot with remaining ingredients and sausage and simmer for 5 more minutes. Let cool and enjoy!!!
