As soon as summer hits, I start thinking of long days at the beach, backyard cookouts and nights under the fireworks. This All-American Burger recipe definitely fits the summertime bill! I named it as such because when I think of American food, I think of copious amounts of cheese on everything, and washing it down with an icy cola. Both of these iconic foods are mixed into the meat of the burger, which makes for an incredibly flavorful, and moist patty. It pairs really well with my families fav

- 1 lb ground chuck (we get ours from the butcher, so I know it’s lean meat)
- 1/4 – 1/2 cup of cola (I went with Coca Cola brand) – more or less depending on how moist your meat is
- 1/2 cup of cheddar or pepper jack cheese, grated (we like the heat, so we used pepper jack, but you substitute for your favorite cheese!)
- seasonings- cayenne, garlic powder, seasoned salt, steak seasoning etc
