My husband had this on crepes at a church function, so I recreated it to go on pancakes, BUT I liked it better with fresh fruit! I called it Angel Sauce because it is HEAVENLY.

1/2 cup real butter
1 tablespoon light Karo syrup
1 cup sugar (granulated)
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
