Apfelstrudel (Apple Strudel)

It is apple time and here is an easy dessert recipe that can be done in a few minutes. Tart apples, raisins, nuts and cinnamon baked in a light, flaky, crispy puff pastry. The heavenly smell while it bakes is enough to make you drool!

2 apples, peeled and cut into slices
2 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp cinnamon powder
½ cup raisins
½ cup dried apricots, cut into small cubes (optional)
½ cup almond flakes or any chopped nuts
1 sheet ready made puff pastry
1 egg white for brushing
