These apple and hazelnut muffins are the perfect dessert snack: they are filled with complex carbs and fiber, very easy to make, conveniently portion controlled, and absolutely delicious.
2 apples, peeled and diced
¾ cup whole grain flour
½ cup rolled oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons lemon zest
½ cup chopped hazelnuts
