I have always been a huge fan of waffles - they are so delicious and easy to make. I can eat them at any time of day – morning, afternoon, or evening (and when I am pregnant, even in the middle of the night :)). I also love apples and cinnamon, so that is why I decided to combine them all to create this delicious breakfast mealYou will love how all of the flavors taste when combined together. For the Waffles
1 1/4 Cup of Flour
1 Cup of Applesauce
1 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of Sugar
1/3 Cup of Melted Butter
1 Egg
1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon
3/4 Cup of Milk
For the Apple Syrup
1 Apple cut into slices
1/3 cup of water
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1 1/4 Cup of Flour
1 Cup of Applesauce
1 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of Sugar
1/3 Cup of Melted Butter
1 Egg
1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon
3/4 Cup of Milk
For the Apple Syrup
1 Apple cut into slices
1/3 cup of water
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
For the Waffles
In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the waffles and mix well.
Empty some of the batter into your waffle batter and cook until browned to your liking. Set Aside.
