Don’t you just love easy to prepare desserts? Like with this Apple Oat Crunch which takes just 5 minutes to prepare and 10 minutes in the oven to create a crunchy golden brown topping. It really makes an amazingly quick dessert to prepare.

2 cans of pie apples or fresh apples, peeled, cored and chopped
¼ cup apricot jam
2 Tbsp apple juice
¼ cup raisins (optional)
½ teaspoon powdered cinnamon
TOPPING:
½ cup oats
½ cup all purpose / cake flour
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup butter OR margarine, cut into pieces
TO SERVE:
whipped cream
¼ cup apricot jam
2 Tbsp apple juice
¼ cup raisins (optional)
½ teaspoon powdered cinnamon
