3 golden delicious apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/2 inch chunks

1 cup instant oats
1/2 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
4 tbsp. light butter, chopped
Pinch of kosher salt
