Apple Pie Dip

This dip can also be used as an oatmeal, yogurt or ice cream topping!

2 cups peeled, cored and diced apples
2 TBSP fresh lemon juice
3 TBSP brown sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cornstarch dissolved in 1 tsp water
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan except the cornstarch-water mixture. Heat for a few minutes until boiling and juice has been extracted from the apples. Add the cornstarch-water mixture to the pan. Heat until boiling and the sauce has thickened. Can be served warm or chilled.
