Bacon-Cheddar Cloverleafs

An epically delicious take on a traditional cloverleaf bun. Guests will be begging for more!

2 cups warm water (around 110 degrees F)
2 packages (4 ½ tsp) active dry yeast
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup solid bacon drippings
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
6 ½ cups all purpose flour, divided
1 lb thick cut bacon, cooked crisp & crumbled
8 oz sharp cheddar, cut in ¼-inch cubes
