Bacon Cheddar Scones

A delightful savory scone with sharp cheddar cheese and crisp bacon. Great with eggs done your favorite way.

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, frozen

1/2 cup sour cream

1 large egg

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

8 slices bacon, cooked, cool and chopped

2 tbsp finely chopped chives (I had green onions, so I used them)
