Banana Cake w/Butter Cream Frosting

Looking for an incredibly moist, delicious banana cake?! Then you're going to LOVE this one! I've been making this banana cake for over 20 years now! It's super moist and the butter cream frosting is extra creamy & smooth! They're perfect together!

For the cake:
1 1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 large eggs
2 c. unbleached or all-purpose flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
1 c. mashed bananas (about 3 medium bananas)
1 c. buttermilk
1 t. vanilla extract

For the Frosting:
1 c. milk
2 T. unbleached flour
1 c. butter, softened but not melted
1 c. granulated sugar
1 t. vanilla extract
