BLT Soup

A unique soup recipe that embodies all of the tastes of a bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich.

8 slices of bacon

2 English Muffins

6 ounces of whole milk

1 ounce of cream

1 ounce of butter

1 teaspoon flour


1 teaspoon mayonnaise

4 ounces of tomato diced

1/3 cup of lettuce shredded
Cook the bacon and eggs in a skillet in the same manner as your would to make a BLT sandwich. In a separate sauce pan add the milk, cream and butter slowly stirring in the flour to thicken. Toast the English Muffins and spread the mayonnaise on them and cut them into small cubes and then line the bottom of a soup bowl using them. Next line the bowl with crumpled bacon and eggs and add a layer of tomato. Pour the sauce into the bowl and then top the dish with the shredded tomato.
