Broccoli & Onion Quiche

Easy for a side dish but also enough for an entry...either way it's just as tasty!

1 pie crust (store bought or homemade)
6 eggs
1 cup whipping cream
½ cup finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
1 ¾ cups shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
