Candied Pecans

These are a delicious snack, and a definite must for salad! When I served this in a salad at a party, my friend took one bite and said, "That was the best thing I've ever eaten!" after which she had another serving of salad, and then came over the next day for her own personal tutorial. They are that good.

1 1/2 cups whole pecans, rough chopped
1/2 cup white sugar
kosher salt
