I like to call this grilled cheese sandwich a dessert sandwich, although it can be eaten for breakfast or lunch, whenever you feel like eating it.

2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 dashes of cinnamon
2 apples (peeled, cored and sliced)
4 thick slices of good cheddar cheese
4 slices of bread

Melt the butter in a pan on a medium low heat. Add sugar and cinnamon and cook until it starts to bubble. Saute the apples until tender for about 5 minutes.
