Carnival Masks

For the dough:
- 500 grams plain flour
- 1 baking powder
- 1 egg
- 2 egg yolks
- 130 grams sugar
- 40 grams melted butter
- 200 ml milk
For decoration:
- 200 grams of powdered sugar
- 70 ml lemon juice
- few drops of food coloring of your choice
- chocolate flakes
- cocoa
- coconut flour
1. Mix the flour with the baking powder, add egg yolks, sugar and melted butter. Add the milk and knead a smooth dough. Leave it for 20 minutes. 2. Roll the dough (3-4 cm thick) and cut in the shape of a mask. 3. Place masks one by one into the heated oil and fry it until is golden (turn the other way). 4. Remove them to absorbent paper and leave it to cool down. 5. To the powdered sugar add lemon juice. Mix it with an electric mixer to get a thick paste. Then add a few drops of food coloring. 6. Liquor the masks with it. While they are still drie, put on the top chocolate flakes and sprinkle with coconut flour to get imaginative masks.
