Chai Spiced Macarons with Chocolate Orange Ganache

Here is another variation on macarons. Again this recipe uses similar flavours to my other macaron recipe. There are many spices used to make chai such as cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, cloves and a lot more! I find that orange compliments the flavours of the different spices in the macron shells. To make these macrons taste even better, leave them in the fridge overnight. This will make the macarons chewier and moister.

120g Icing Sugar
100g Ground Almonds
40g Caster Sugar
2x Egg Whites
1x Chai Tea Teabag

Chocolate Orange Ganache:
200g Cadbury’s Bournville Chocolate
200ml Double Cream
